We had a wonderful time visiting with family over the Thanksgiving holiday. Too much food of course. Everyone makes such incredible dishes. I am so thankful for the family I have. We always have so much fun together. I love it now that my oldest daughter is like me and finds a fun new recipe and isn't afraid to try it on Thanksgiving Day! She made Pumpkin Spice Latte in the Slow Cooker. It was delicious and filled the kitchen with that perfect pie in the oven aroma.  The recipe is on Pinterest so I am definitely going to be pinning that one. I'll have it on my Selah Ridge Lavender Farm Pinterest page.

I noticed that one common topic of conversation during our visits was dreaded winter dry skin. So I came home tired but full of inspiration. The first thing I made was our Lavender Body Butter Cream. It is so luxurious, it feels like therapy as soon as you rub it into your skin. The great thing is it doesn't make your skin feel greasy. It absorbs right in and gets to work.  Next, I moved onto Lavender Lotion Bars. Now these really combat specific dry areas. These bars are rich with Shea Butter They have no water in them at all so they are very effective for elbows, feet and any other super dry area.

I have more products to make today. It's starting to snow a bit so it will be a perfect day to turn on

some music and get to work.Christmas music sounds good since I am preparing for an event this Saturday.  This is the only event we do during the holidays. We chose this event because it has a very different feel. There are some pretty amazing artisans there. I love the atmosphere. Please come check it out. Just follow your nose you'll find me.
