    This new Cultivar is becomming very popular and I can see why, it is a beauty! The Lavendula Intermedia have longer flower heads and a clean , lavender scent. It is excellent in fresh and dried bouquets it holds it's color well when dried but does shed a bit when touched or grabbed.  Gros Bleu has a darker color, almost a navy and darker than the popular Grosso variety of lavender.  It yeilds a very nice and lovely essential oil. 

    Flower Color: Dark Violet Blue
    Stem Length: 20-24 in
    Plant Height: 36-40 in
    Best uses: oil, sachets, fresh bouquets and dried wreaths and bouquets
